Due to their high degree of hardness and their high abrasion resistance, tools with polycrystalline diamond cutting materials are particularly suited for cutting/chipping of:
PCD types
GD120 | PCD superfine grain for fine finishing of all non-ferrous metals and non-ferrous materials with low portions of abrasive filler materials, good impact resistance and wear resistance, best surfaces (grain size 1µ). |
GD200 | PCD medium grain for general chipping of all non-ferrous metals and non-ferrous materials with low to high portions of abrasive filler materials, good impact resistance and better wear resistance, good surfaces (grain size 10µ). |
GD300 | PCD coarse grain for general chipping of all non-ferrous metals and non-ferrous materials with high to very high portions of abrasive filler materials, good impact resistance and very good wear resistance (grain size 25µ). |
GD440 | PCD mixed grain for general chipping of all non-ferrous metals AlSi>12% and nonferrous materials with very high portions of abrasive filler materials, good impact resistance and best wear resistance with good surfaces (grain size 2-30µ). |
