PCD, CBN and CVD one-way inserts with a cutting edge length of 2.5 mm for machining with small to medium depth of cut and an additional wiper geometry for better surface finish.

Wiper geometry
The wiper geometry for indexable inserts meets the requirements for high surface quality for turning and/or higher efficiency for the machining time. Machining by turning with double feed motion results in a reduction of the main time of 50 % with the same surface finish compared to a conventional radius on the indexable insert. Using the same feed motion as for the conventional indexable insert, the Ra value is reduced by 50% due to the wiper geometry.
